Auto poup of window error

My friend's laptop recently has got a problem.It's power options dialog box auto pops up while working.What's this error?

What kind of laptop? also, has his laptop power options set to go to sleep and hibernate in a real short time frame?

It sounds like you need more info on exactly what pops up and what they have to do to close it.
