brightsun dont place your entire post as a link . It does not look good.
If you think you will copy a user's name and paste it in your post, it becomes a link to that user's profile. Bot make the rest of your post free from a link. After pasting the username, press the red bordered button in the reply box, as shown in the attachment.

AVG 9 installing?

I installed AVG 9 can anyone tell me the differance between program update schedule and update should it be two different times for each ?

Brightsun, sorry to be anti-climactic but I cannot help but contribute an opinion since I once used AVG and abandoned it (as did most techies) when they bloated it up several years back.

All of this can be avoided by uninstalling AVG and installing Microsoft's own new free anti-virus suite which is much less complicated, installs in 30 seconds, updates itself, runs a Quick Scan and then pretty much disappears completely forever unless you encounter a threat.

Just my two cents.
