Hey guys I recently changed a setting in msconfig.sys where I put the number of processors to 4 and now I get the BSOD which states an error of bad_system_config_info is displayed. I tried loading into safe mode and failed same BSOD. Tried to put the Windows 7 DVD and run the repair mode and still fails and no system restore point is stored so that's a fail too. Any other solutions I can try? I still can boot into Windows XP so I know it's not cuz of a failed HD or bad memory. Please help!
