battery isssue

hello im having a battery issue on my dell mini 10v what i did is update the bios from A00 to A06 and installed windows 7 pro now my battery metter is acting funny one minute it says 100% for about 1/2 hour and drop down to 7% the pc will say running to about 4% and shut down i plug the ac adapter back in and says pluged in charging it will only charge to 8% and will not charge any more but sates it is still charging i leave it for awhile it will jump instantly back to 100% and continue the cycle not too shure if it is a hardware or driver problem

I would assume a faulty battery, if you are still under warranty I would have it checked or replaced.

I've seen a couple of dells that have battery issues after doing a BIOS update.
Firstly bear in mind that updating the BIOS is dangerous and may brick your PC if theres an issue.

First thing I would try is reflashing the latest BIOS again.
If that doesnt work try one of the older ones
