Ditto on that. I just ordered five items the largest of which was a router. According to the tracking link, the package weighs a little over 11 ounces. I took the free shipping option. Having it here next week is soon enough.

I'm really sorry to see NewEgg go to this. Before Amazon started really pushing Prime, it would fill my orders within 24-36 hours, even if I opted for the free shipping on orders $25 and over (which has recently been increased to $35). If the order happened to be shipping from one of its Phoenix warehouses...excuse me...fulfillment centers, I often received the order within 48 hours. Now, Amazon will wait to fill an order long enough to make sure all orders take the same amount of time to be delivered. It feels as though Amazon is punishing me for not using its bloody Prime (and they probably are).

Orders from NewEgg have been getting filled and shipped within 36 hours and delivered within two to four days since its warehouse is only around 400-450 miles from me. I fear NewEgg will start doing the same thing Amazon has been doing to penalize people for not buying into NewEgg's version of Amazon Prime. I smell rotten eggs.

100% agreement! Last year both NE and Azon were 2 days with free shipping because of my location. Now they wait 4-5 days to ship so it's 6-7 days with the free ship option.
