Hi
I have windows 7 ultimate x64
few days ago i wanted to try Bit locker on one of my external hdd (120GB NTFS HDD)
while encrypting the hdd (around 40% encrypting) , the cable was removed by mistake and i got blue screen and windows restarted
when i tried to connect my hdd, its asking for bitlocker password to decrypt it
when i put the password it give me error : "incorrect function"
after searching i find that there is a tool called bit locker repair tool (repair-bde)
i tried to use it to decrypt the hdd but it stop decrypting on 56% and don't give any error after waiting for hours for it to continue then i have to end it.
today i checked again and i find this info in Microsoft tech net page:

The following limitations exist for the Repair-bde command-line tool:
Repair-bde cannot repair a drive that failed during the encryption or decryption process.
Repair-bde assumes that if the drive has any encryption, then the drive has been fully encrypted.

Does anyone know any other way to decrypt the hdd or get my data back ???
thanks in advance for your help

The drive should have been encrypted before you added any content, or the content backed up before any encryption was applied. Recovering data from a drive that failed to get fully encrypted will probably be much more difficult / expensive than recovering data from a drive that was fully encrypted.
