Please uninstall all Orb programs from your system, including Orb Networks as they
are contributing towards your BSOD's.

Your Trusteer Rapport Security may be causing issues and may need updating,
it may also be conflicting with Norton.

I would suggest uninstalling Norton, as it hogs resources and causes a lot of BSOD issues.

As an alternative, please download and install:

:ar: Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antiviruses/internet security software.

   Note
Once downloaded, update and run a full system scan

STOP F4 can also be related to HDD issues, usually storage.
They can also be related to RAM and virus infection :

Test your hard drive. Perform a :ar: Hard Drive Diagnostic

Scan the system for possible virus infection:

:ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/166445-windows-defender-offline.html
:ar: http://support.kaspersky.com/5350?vs=s88446#s88446

Post a screenshot of your hard drive using Crystal Disk Info:

:ar: CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World

Take memtest. Run for 8 passes, test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes:

:ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
   Tip
Run these tests overnight, pay particular attention to #3 in tutorial if errors occur

Aim to update your storage controller drivers as they are all very old (2009)

Post back any results.

Cheers

Dave

Thanks Dave for the response and will have a look at Orb - never had any problems with it before. I have checked the storage controller drivers by doing the update driver and they are up to date ? Is there something else i need to be looking at ?
