bluescreen problem!

im sorry that i had to break this thread, i couldnt find the "make thread" ore something .
well i have olmost the same problem, when i play online games, my computer freezez after 5minutes of playing. A couple of weaks ago , it wud only freeze after 1-2hours playing, now 5min, so it rly annoying me so please help me out!!
i have windows 7 BTW

when i freeze i have no other choise then to restart my computer with the on/off button , i tryed alt+tab, ... no responds
so when i restart my computer there coms a problem warning s followd.:

theres a problem with your symbols but all minidumps show WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)

are you overclocking ?

STOP 0x124 errors are:
- hardware problems
- compatibility issues (hardware or driver)
- corrupted driver (not all agree with this)

disable this driver

AFS.sys should be in C:\Windows\System32\drivers rename it to AFS.txt then reeboot your system and upload any more minidumps ?

I'm going to piggyback on this thread without trying to introduce a new problem: The OP question about vsmraid is a real issue. I am also getting hordes of the same BSOD. The problem is that this came from a clean Win7 (bare bones) install, so no VIA-downloaded drivers -- the one in play came from MS. I'm also not using RAID, and can't tell where or why the vsmraid driver is involved. There is apparently no Win7 replacement, and I can't tell from the VIA site what to try to download and install in the hopes of getting an old, but good enough, driver installed. I'm just trying to point out that the OP, who seems to have less experience than I do, is banging his head against the same wall, and we'd sure appreciate some suggestions. Thanks.

* Zip up the copy.
