Blue Screens and Random Reboots

You don't need Verifier at this point, because you don't have many third-party drivers to test.

Alright, the only driver I've installed so far was for my wireless adapter

The other thing is that my PC is extremely loud because I'm sure the fan is at 100% (since I don't have any fan control software on)

Do you know what may be the cause of that?

Yes, heat could be the issue there. Please post some temps with Speedfan.

Hmm, just before I could install it, my computer rebooted itself

I had disable restart at system failure on so I'm not quite sure what caused the reboot, should I continue with installing Speedfan?

I couldn't see much from the minidump except the same stop code that you had before which is 101.

Tuan is right. ASACPI.sys dated 2005 is a known cause of BSOD's.

But wasn't that causing an error last time even after it was updated?

I don't remember. Yes, I think it was pinpointed after you updated it. If that situation reoccurs, go to c:\windows\system32\drivers and re name it to ASACPI.bak, then reboot. I understand from the website that you can run without it.

I'm planning to run memtest again through the night and til around 6 o clock tomorrow GMT and will let you know the results

I can see there's two different memtests though, memtest86 and 86+, which one should I run? I'm on a 64bit system if that helps

Ok, I decided to turn the memtest off and let my computer rest

It ran through 8 passes (on number 9 when I stopped it) and there were no errors detected, so I'm guessing the RAM is OK?

Yep, everything has been checked, I'd also like to add that since I first got these blue screens, the PSU, Graphics card and Hard Drive have all been replaced

My PC is still extremely loud though, yet the temperature seems fine, is there a way to control the fan speed without installing the Asus Utilities?
