Alright, well, I got a computer like a little over a month ago. Its a netbook, an ASUS EeePC 1215B. It kept restarting, only once or twice showing the BSOD Error, which over time got a little more constant. Its now restarting like every 10-30 mins. It used to be random times, can be between 5 minutes of startup to 6 hours later. Now its constant and I can't do anything about it. I finally got the error number a little while ago, called ASUS and the rep told me last night that if I got the error number he could determine the problem, which is obvious seeing as that's the reason for error numbers, to determine the problem. But I called the rep like 20 mins ago and he said he couldn't figure out the problem, which is a lie seeing as I figured out that it could be a driver, hardware, BIOS, or memory problem just by looking up the error number on Google. So I clearly can't rely on ASUS for anything, especially since the only thing they're planning on doing is a system restore and sending it back. So does anyone have any idea what I should do? Another thing that might be useful is that I replaced my RAM recently, upgraded from a 1GB single stick to 2 2GB sticks of the same RAM, made by the same company with the same pins and everything (I spent like 3 hours tying to find the EXACT same style just a higher amount) but I recall the error happening before I replaced the memory anyway, so I doubt that's an issue. I plan on replacing my old RAM and running the computer just to make sure, but I seriously doubt its the RAM. It may be the drivers for the old memory is conflicting with the new RAM, but I didn't think that kinda problem would arise. I'll find out if its the RAM though in a little bit. Anyone think they could help with this?
