Hi, I bought a new HP laptop about 2 months ago and it frequently shows the BSOD. Please help! I've attached the required zip file (I think!).

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057

Any info or advice you can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi i suggest searching for new drivers here : Intel® Driver Update Utility
If the btmhsf.sys comes up download it and install it right away.

Every dump is blaming btmhsf.sys - Intel Proset Bluetooth HighSpeed Filter Driver

I'd suggest looking for an updated driver for it or if you dont use the bluetooth disable it in device manager.

Thanks guys! I've gone to the Intel site and updated all the drivers I can (although when I restarted the computer, bluescreen came up!!). Fingers crossed it'll work now the updates are complete, in the meantime i'll disable the bluetooth - cheers Sky and Z!
