BSOD after BSOD, computer is very unstabil and crashes randomly

Hi guys,

I am new on this forum, this is my first post here. I read plenty of other threads but i can`t find the solution for the problems I have.

I am running my system with Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. This works fine after 3 or 4 years, but the last time it crashes every day a few times. I installed all the new necessary drivers. The last driver for my Geforce 8400M GS is released on 15-5-2012. I`ve done 2 clean installations of Windows booting it from the DVD, formatting and install it again, but no result.

Please is there anybody who wants to help me, because i am at a point now to buy a complete new laptop

This is a TDR116 Error which is typically caused by your display driver or a defect in your RAM/GPU. The Nvidia 8000 Series is known to have overheating issues/memory problems.

Hello,
I've read your post.. I had the same problem witha 8400m G on an Acer 7520.. Unfortunately the 8m series of GPUs has a factory problem... The only way to repair it temporarily is to take out the card from your laptop, wipe out the cooling paste and put it in the hoven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.. No I'm not joking.. That way the solderings can reform.. Try it out, it worked for me..
