Solved BSOD after Lightning storm

Suffered a BSOD after lightning storm caused power to interrupt . Restarted normally, ran SFC and shows no integrity violations.
Want to make sure all is okay . Thanks for your time and efforts to help me out .

This is a clock related issue. Have you overclocked your computer?

Ty for replying.. no,, my computer is stock.. no overclocking at all ..

Hmm, that's weird. 0x101 is always an overclocking issue. Are you sure it isn't overclocked? It might be factory clocked.

Factory.. i have adjusted nothing at all..

Then reset BIOS settings and see if that works.

Hmm, it is a little advanced as i'm not a BIOS guy either. Can you try to take the CMOS out and put it back in? That way it will reset the BIOS.

K, shut down properly.. discharged power.. grounded self.. removed and replaced cmos battery after a 5 min wait..

Okay, do you get any BSODs?

Not yet... lol .. you think that may have been issue ? or should i await for another ?

yeah.. thing is.. when lightning storms cause a surge.. it may have very well caused a bios issue.. which is beyond my expertise..so.. lets leave it open.. but.. if this works.. i will close it for sure.. thanks for you speedy help. ..
