I removed a Alureon virus using the Windows Defender Offline and everything was successful until I restarted the computer, I got the BSOD. Then unplugged all the various drives I had attached and used the Start Up Repair option and it said that it couldn't repair the computer. So I searched on a clean computer and got as far as downloading the FRST64.exe. I ran it and I will try and attach this file to the post. Any assistance would be most helpful.

Thanks!

How do I run it the program with the BSOD?

I read through the BSOD notice beforehand but I can't figure out how to run the program on my computer if I can't get to the desktop to run it. I can get to the command prompt screen but beyond that I haven't been able to figure out how to run it. Any more help on that front?

Thanks

I followed the instructions on those guides and after selecting "safe mode" the computer goes throught the "loading windows files", pauses, then it goes into the blue screen of death "STOP: 0x0000007B"

What partition I boot from?

Sorry for the late response, I had to go out of town.

I tried going through the Option Two (using Diskpart) on the Startup Repair link that was sent to me and by activating and inactiveating(?) various partitions I found a way to stop my computer from even booting up the BSOD. Is there a way for me to figure out what Parition I have my operating system installed on so I can run through that guide properly?

I don't know if I haven't mentioned that I can't fully boot my computer because of this and the furthest I can get is the command prompt screen, so that is what I used to look at Diskpart. I couldn't figure out how I would get screenshots off of my computer when I can only get to the command prompt screen so I took two photos with my phone. I hope that's alright. I am not sure what is on what partitions but I am fairly sure that my windows is installed on Disk 0.

Unplug the other hard drive and boot into win7 disk to run Startup Repair 3 times.

Then if it doesn't start continue working through the Failure to Boot tutorial. At any time you can skip to step to rescue any files and reinstall.
