Hello there seven forum!

I am having an issue with BSOD.
The short of it is that the computer runs fine while I am on it, however *sometimes* when I let the computer go to sleep at some point (usually within 24hr) the system shuts down randomly and then when I come back to it I have to boot it up again and I get the standard "Windows did not shut down properly, which mode would you like to start in" error.

In addition to the requested .dmp files,
here is the info from "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown"

Thanks in advance!!
Cheers,

Hello,

It seems that the collector didn't grab everything, can you run this free tool(created by another BSOD analyzer at EF) to get the MSINFO Tools & Downloads Archives - OMG Debugging!!!

Code:
Expected Frequency: 3500
Actual Frequency: [COLOR="red"]3605 [/COLOR]
Overclock Ratio: [COLOR="Red"]1.03[/COLOR]
Please reset the OC back to default settings, and Overclocks can be a cause of BSODs.

Code:
AiChargerPlus.sys Wed Apr 18 20:17:35 2012 (4F8F67AF)
This driver belongs to some ASUS Utilities, please uninstall any ASUS Utilities you might have for testing purposes.

Post back results.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply!
I'm at work currently but will be able to run that tool after I get home, probably 7pm EST.

I didn't realize that the computer was overclocked. I tried it once a few months ago and decided it wasn't worth it. I thought that I had set it back to default, I guess I was wrong, so I'll see if I can't figure out how to do that as well.

Cheers,

I'm deeply sorry for the late reply. Work, and now back in school along with a horrible sleep schedule makes it kinda difficult to keep on track.

But looking at the msinfo:
Code:
[COLOR="Red"]qknfd[/COLOR]	ROOT\LEGACY_QKNFD\0000	This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

I looked that up and it is showing as adware. So to be safe, I suggest the following,

Full system scan using https://www.malwarebytes.org/. Make sure to chose the free version!

If you don't have a anti-virus, then I suggest a full system scan with Download Microsoft Security Essentials from Official Microsoft Download Center

If these don't work,
Please download and run ADWCleaner:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

And

Please download and run Junkware Removal tool

Post back results!

Hey there HonorGamer,

Sorry it took a while for my reply, but I wanted to be sure that the problem had been fixed and I am happy to report that the malware program you suggested found and quarantined several bugs. Since running the program everything has worked fine.

Thanks so much for you help!
