BSOD bugcheck 50

I have recently received a BSOD for Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area. I have done some research on this error and am aware that it relates to memory. I ran memtest86+ and received no errors. I am new to minidump analysis and I cannot seem to find the answer to my issue. I will include the minidump in this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When running MemTest86+ to test memory, its important to run for a minimum of 8 consecutive passes - this is the minimum number need to thoroughly test RAM.

With your 16GB RAM, that will take several hours so I recommend running it overnight.

Just to re-iterate : run 8 consecutive passes at once. With that much RAM, I estimate it will take 12 to 15 hrs.

I did some research and found out that the driver specified in the dump is related to daemon tools which I had previously installed on my computer. I recently reformatted this computer because of blue screens which I found out were caused by a different ISO emulating program. I did not know of any alternatives so I downloaded DT to use temporarily and then uninstalled it but apparently the driver didn't uninstall with it. I uninstalled the driver just now. Apparently the driver isn't very compatible with Windows 7. Let me know if there is anything else I could do about this new BSOD. Thank you for your continued support Golden!

That was the correct thing to do - here you can see Daemon Tools (sptd.sys driver) was causing the BSOD.

After a few days of using my computer, I encountered another crash. This time it actually said the issue was memory corruption. Could this be the actual problem even though I used memtest86+ and it didn't find any problems? Here's the dump files.

The NVidia driver/applications are still flagged in both .dmp files.

Uninstall everything to do with NVidia, including the driver. Nowe run Windows Update and check for an NVidia driver in the Optional Updates - install it. Do not update anything to do with NVidia after this.

Ok I followed your instructions and reinstalled the video driver from windows update. I checked the version numbers and it seems to be the same exact number. I also uninstalled Malware Fighter.

Here are the latest two crash dumps. The second one occurred while I was using prime95 to stress test the CPU. I was reading other threads that mentioned the CPU could cause this particular error code (124). I also removed half of my RAM and ran it for a while then switched it out for the other half. The computer still crashed. I think I can rule out RAM unless all of it is messed up. Hopefully it's just a software issue but these new BSODs point to hardware.

I agree - its certainly hardware related. Since MemTest86+ passed on 8 consecutive passes, the problem cannot be RAM.

Did you note the temperatures during Prime95? If not, please do this:

1. Ensure any overclocks and set back to defaults.
2. Ensure CPU and other coolers are clean and free of dust
3. Run IntelBurnTest on STANDARD settings, and note the temperatures:

I reformatted my computer and upon doing that I found out that my DVD drive was malfunctioning but not completely broken so I unplugged it. I do not use it anyway but I will probably find a new one. After uninstalling the faulty drive I stopped receiving BSODs. Thanks for all of your help! I believe I can now mark this issue solved
