Again a memory corruption. I'll add you to the 'Need more help' thread so people will be posting on this.

Hello,

First off, it seems there are some network problems somewhere. I'd suspect either a driver or bad network card is causing the problem. I see you were using your Ethernet card, so install these drivers: Broadcom.com - Broadcom License Agreement

Code:
k57nd60a.sys Fri Oct 16 06:29:38 2009 (4AD84B12)

More likely, though, is an unrelated hardware problem. Run each of the three Prime95 tests: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html

I can run a different test tonight if helpful but my PC rebooted itself (no BSOD) last night after running the test for 3 and a half hours. Attached are the logs from the small FFTs test and the speedfan fan speeds

What is the make, model, and age of your power supply?

Take out your two 1GB sticks, so you're left with the 4GB. It's possible that the size mismatch might be causing or at least contributing to the problem.

OK I've taken out the two 1GB sticks and left in the 2 2GB sticks.
This is the label on the power supply. I don't believe it has been changed since we bought the PC so its going to be a couple of years old by now. I'll let you know if I have any more issues with the reduced amount of RAM.

So far, 2 days in I've had no crashes or reboots since taking out the extra RAM.

Glad to hear it.

It's possible that the RAM you took out was defective. More likely, though, it is a compatibility issue. That's the trouble with OEM PCs, the BIOS setup programs are locked down so the end user can't customize settings. On an unlocked motherboard, there would likely be a compatibility setting that could be enabled, which would allow you to use that extra RAM. Such was the case with my own system last year, when I added RAM myself.
