BSOD/crashing regularly

Hi guys.

I've had my laptop for a almost a year and a half now. Within 3 months of having it, I had recieved my first blue screen. I didn't pay too much attention to it as I didn't use the laptop much but these continued and started to happen more frequently (upto 5/6 times a month instead of once every few months). I took a photo of the blue screen with my phone:

Everytime it goes to crash dump, it says "physical memory dump failed with status 0xc000009c"

Also, 90% of the time before it crashes/blue screens, any sound i'm playing becomes distorted for a few seconds then the screen will freeze and crash.
Recently while watching a video on youtube, the screen turned multicoloured as shown below. (not sure if its related to my problem but i thought it would be worth mentioning anyway)

Lastly, I had left my laptop running with a browser open while I watched TV and when I came back the screen had froze and the fan was blowing constantly.


I have uploaded the files from the SF_Diagnostics tool as an attachment

Any help would be great as its starting to become very frustrating.

First, welcome to SevenForums, Andy55. We will try to help you.

We need your dump files. There isn't any in your zip file.
Check this :

1. Go to System Properties (right click on Computer icon, and click properties)
2. Go to Advanced System Settings.
- If you asked by UAC, click yes.
3. In Advanced Tab, Startup and Recovery section, click Settings.
4. For System Failure make sure you have settings like this :
- Write an event to system log : On (checked)
- Write debugging information - Small Memory Dump (256 KB)
- Click OK and restart your computer if you changed something.

Note : Make sure you don't use CCleaner, or any Disk Cleanup tool because that will delete dump files.

Then upload zip file again.

Hi Trinty, I checked the settings against those you suggested and they all match up.
Unfortunately, I used CCleaner about a month ago thinking it may help cure my problems, little did I know!!
When "memory dump failed" comes up on a BSOD, does it still created a dump file?

After this, upload zip file as result of this.

And one thing. Do you maybe know what is SBRE ? Or any other member ? I found that SBRE in problem devices on your system. If you know what is it, delete it.
(That can be of an Ad-Aware product. Delete all Ad-Aware products and see if you have BSODs).

If that don't help and if you can't get dumps we will try to test your computer.

I have the settings set to create a small memory dump upon crashing. I will check for a dump file after the next crash and report back.
I haven't heard of SBRE but checked my program list and I have no ad-ware products installed.

I did come across a large .DMP file called MEMORY which is about half a gig. Would this be of any use to solvethe problem?

That file is too big... Don't send it. Small Memory Dumps are very small, some KBs. It's easy to send and have informations about your problem. So wait for next crash and try to collect informations again (using tutorial about it).
