Hi,
My apologies on not following the posting guidelines earlier...here goes again!
I have BSOD on boot quite often now. Before coming here I have done all of the standard checks: scannow, memtest, chkdsk, virus/malware scan...all showing no problems, yet obv there is! If i try to boot from disc or usb with my lenovo factory recovery or Win7 system repair disc I will get to 'windows loading files' screen, and then after that the comp turns off abruptly or goes to BSOD. I often get BSOD when going to SafeMode, Startup repair or Lenovo recovery mode and only get through when i'm lucky and with many hard restarts. So If I wanted to do a full reinstall of OS, I can't even do that because of this boot issue, something is blocking the process.
Thankfully, for some strange reason, if i let it boot normally into the OS (after many hard restarts) I can get in and use my comp without any issues whatsoever, never had a bsod while in Windows, and in fact am using it right now.
Thanks again for any and all insight!
