Recently I restored my computer to windows 7 after using Windows 8 for a short period of time provided by my university. I don't think the story as to why I went back is very necessary so I'll skip it and get onto my problem.

Upon returning to Win7, I began to get some errors, namely my computer would BSOD every time that it went to "sleep". Additionally, on boot-up, the bios would give me the option to boot in Win8.1, even though I had removed it.

I'm trying to solve the BSOD issue, however I think that the two are related. I have attached the minidump folders and sysinfo in a .zip. I was trying to resolve this on my own - however my understanding of hardware and software is obviously not advanced enough to do so.

The zip you uploaded does not contain any crash dump.

Follow it: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Dont run any disc cleanup program before you upload another zip.

Okay my computer just underwent another BSOD, and I followed the directions you had posted to ensure I would have a dump created, and then used one of the applications which are posted on the forums to create a zip containing the information I need and here it is.

It seems to be the wireless network driver is failing.
Code:
BugCheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff8800169453b, fffff8800381b7c0, 0}

Probably caused by : tcpip.sys ( tcpip! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+57b4 )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
Update the driver by matching with the device number: Downloads - MediaTek

Let us know the results.

I have gone to manufacturer's site and updated the driver for my wireless card and hopefully this should fix my problem and will make sure the computer can go to power save/ sleep without crashing this time and then will mark this as solved.

Thank you.
