BSOD for twcinnh

Intel driver

Hello Boris,

I had already run the Intel software a few days ago without any change. However, a week or so ago I had noticed one of the networks reported an unplugged network driver (the Intel) and ignored that for now since the current problem has been getting worse.

Just ran the Intel software again though and it offered to downgrade to the older driver. I let it thinking that could be an issue, no results to report yet.

I have seen that Bitdefender seems to be around a number of similar problems and am tempted to uninstall and use a trail version of something like Eset to see if anything changes.

I've had MBAM on this computer for a number of years; these problems seem to have arrived around the time I installed the current version of Bitdefender Internet Security. (Last years version worked well.)

What do you think? Try uninstalling Bitdefender? Seems like nothing to lose.

Regards,

Tom C

Uninstall Bitdefender for testing purpose is my thought.

Don't forget to install Microsoft Security Essentials as alternative :)

uninstall Bitdefender results

Well, it's been a full day since I uninstalled Bitdefender and no BSODs. Sometimes I've had several a day but it's been weeks since I've had none at all.

If there is interest I'll update results over the next few days, then see what Bitdefender has to say.

Tom C
