So, reset your BIOS to default settings.

Test the volts of the PSU using HWInfo, download the correct version and open it. After you've opened it click Sensors-only and run. Now scroll down to the power section and screenshot the power section.

Try the default Windows settings.

Screen shot attached, Bios set to optimized defaults, will run memtest in the morning. Can you clarify what you mean by try the default windows settings? As for the voltages could they possibly be different on some boots, hence causing the crash, because if these were taken from a stable boot they may be different to those if it was going to crash later?

Seems pretty fine to me. I mean for example when you do a re-install of Windows, everything is at default settings, understand what i mean? I don't think such an thing can occur. I'll wait for you to run MemTest86+.

I sort of understand, but I do not believe I have changed any of these settings, how can I check without reinstalling Windows? It may be worth noting when I had another issue 8 months ago memtest86+ passed 26 passes without any errors, despite there being an issue with the motherboard channels. Finally it said 2048M out of 8153M, but I have 8gb of ram, surely that should say out of 8192? Thanks for all the help so far!

I ran it for 5 passes with no errors, however it did slow down greatly taking only 45 mins for the first pass but only completing 5 passes after 9 hours. I have had to stop it due to needing the PC, but can restart it later if needed. Just wondering, you mentioned my values on HWiNFO where ok, what values would be a concern, so I can keep an eye out for them?

Ok, can I run it for a final 3, or does it have to be 8 successive? What about the 8153 number, and the values on HWiNFO?

No you have to run it for 8 successive. The 8153 number i can't explain, but as long as you see the proper sticks it's ok. The values on HWiNFO are normal, nothing suspicious there.

Ok about to run these now, what temps should I stop at, and with prime 95 does it again have to be 2 hours continuous?

Ok I ran the test Furmark for 5 mins, temperatures capped at 83 degrees on the GPU. Ran 3 of the 4 seagate tools and had no issues, I am currently running the last one. I will then do prime 95.
