Solved BSOD mostly while playing games, but other times too

Since the beginning of this month I have been encountering BSOD errors. They seem to be all over the place. You can take a look at the attached stuff to see. I've lost some dump files when I did a system restore to a day or 2 before the first BSOD. This didn't fix anything, just lost a couple days of dump files. I have run a memtest, also run SFC. I have also checked out temperatures for both my GPU and CPU, both seem to stay around 50 degrees Celsius. I built this computer back in 2009, haven't had any problems like this until now.

These BSODs happen usually within 30-60 minutes of playing a game like Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. But if I am just using the computer for internet browsing, it doesn't seem to happen nearly as quick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have almost no money for new hardware, so I am really hoping it's a software issue.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Change the display driver. Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL only.

• Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
  • 3D Vision Control Driver
  • 3D Vision Driver
  • Graphics Driver
  • HD Audio Driver
  • PhysX
  • nvidia Update
  (Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
• Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
• Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:
  
  

Your Microsoft Keyboard and DeathAdder mouse ... how old those are? Update the respective drivers too.

The BIOS is too old. Try to update it to F12 dated 2010/01/18 (latest available) from GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-EP45-UD3R (rev. 1.1)

I uninstalled the driver for the GPU as you suggested, and installed an older version, and only installed the basic driver. Still got BSOD
I have the updated drivers for the DeathAdder mouse, it was purchased in 2012.
I have the updated drivers for the keyboard as well, which was purchased in 2009.
The PSU is 650W corsair from 2009 as well, I used that calculator you linked, and it said I was using no more than 400W.

I used the Furmark stress tester, and I saw a good amount of artifacts being displayed rather frequently. And this reminded me that I would rarely see them while playing Diablo 3, and just kind of dismissed it as it didn't happen more than once every.... 40 hours (rough guess). However I'm thinking this is further indication that it is a GPU failure on the hardware side. Unless you think something else is more likely?

I have yet to flash the BIOS but I think I'll save that till I save the money for a new GPU. Or maybe even a new mobo, ram, and CPU along with a new GPU. I've been eyeing DDR3 memory for a while now, and I even hear that DDR4 is in the works.

If you notice artifacts during furmark and can relate those with gameplay time situation, then perhaps you have debugged your issue. The GPU is failing to take the load upto an extent.
