I've searched the internet and tried everything I know & can find...still having problems...please help (in as non-technical terms as possible)!

The computer in question has Windows 7 Home 64 bit installed. All of a sudden we started getting the BSOD. No changes had been made to the computer in several months other than the automatic updates. I tried some small things I found/were suggested with no success. I reinstalled Windows 7...no success. Reinstalled Windows 7 again, booting from the disc and deleting what was on the drive this time....still no success. Norton says there is an issue with the RAM (2g). Windows does not find any issues when I run the troubleshooters. Opened the desktop gadget to watch the RAM usage...doesn't seem to get into or near the "red" zone. Found advice that Norton itself may be the issue...uninstalled...no success. Occassionally will get the beep code that I believe indicates it is a RAM issue.
