Good afternoon,

Over the weekend i bought a new setup and ive been plagued with Kernel-Power issues.

The Issue:

The computer every now and then either BSOD's or restarts itself and the event viewer shows Kernel-Power issue, which according to people i have spoken to can be a number of different things.

The issue occurs completely randomly. But it happens alot more frequently in games like battlefield 4 etc, I Also attempted to completely re install my programs and games, so don't have battlefield to test with at the moment, but the computers been on for 4 hours at the moment of typing this updating battlefield so i have a game to test with. So it seems just general everyday use is fine, but when games or anything heavy on the machine happens it just cant handle it and bombs out.

Specs:

intel i5 4670k
asus maximus vi extreme
Nvidia GTX 760
16 GB G.skill 1866Mhz Ram
Corsair H75 cooler
Samsung 840 Evo - 128GB
Coolermaster 550W PSU ( Temporary power supply )

Troubleshooting Done So Far:

Originally i had installed windows 7 on my new machine, but then i ran into this problem so i installed windows 8 thinking it may be a compatibility issue, but the issue still came up. i installed windows 7 again and still same issue.

I Have run Intel burn for 45 minutes in safe mode with no issues at all, i have run Intelburn in normal mode for 30 minutes with no issues.

I Have run a check Disk which said everything is alrite.
I Have run a memory diagnostics which also said everything is fine.

My next idea's are as follows:

1. Plug only 1 screen, keyboard and mouse in as well as a network cable and see how that works out.
2. If i still have an issue, switch my RAM out with my old machines RAM to ensure its not the ram that is the issue, after which ill try the PSU if im still experiencing the issue.

Closing Comments:

If im missing anything please let me know, first time posting for assistance, usually i can fix most my issues myself but i think i need the assistance of people more tech savvy than me for this one.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Report back for any further BSOD.

Hi Arc,

Just realised why only 1 dump file was being uploaded, the samsung magician app for my SSD disabled page files or recuded the size so low only 1 was being shown, or something to that effect. ive now changed it back to how it was before with the SSD and file paging. So i shud be able to get an updated BSOD dump file.

Sorry about that, should of checked if the dump files were all there and ready.

Should have a few new files tonight to upload.

Thanks in advance for any further help.
