Hi

My computer has been working fine for the past few days, and a few hours ago it just froze, so I turned it off and rebooted it, but it kept rebooting, so I turned off auto reboot, and got that unmountable error. My PC won't boot in any safe mode options, the repair your computer option doesn't work, and all of the other options are not working as well.
I just recently downloaded the "discord" ap into my pc, but I don't think that's the problem?

Thanks for the help on advanced!

To be as honest as I know how.

Your system is a LGA 775 socket. Which means it's very old and tired.
Most of the time for a system this old it is a trial and error method to repair them.
Many times it cost more to repair them than what they are worth.

When you try to boot your system do you see anything on the monitor?
Do any fans come on?
Other than the little light is anything else happening when you try to boot?
Have you changed any hardware recently?
How long has Ultimate been installed?

The monitor does not do anything, besides output a light showing that power comes into the monitor. No hardware has been changed recently, no fans come on, and Ultimate has been installed for about 3 or 4 months now.

I've checked to see if the power button is connected properly, and it is.
If I need to get a new PC, is there a way I can transfer my current hardrive to my new PC?

Their are many adapters that can be used to connect a old hard drive to a newer system.

I wouldn't want a very old hard drive in my new system. I would transfer the data to the new system drive or a external drive and put the old hard drive to rest in piece.

Their is always a way to save a PC if one has enough money and time. Also the needed parts have to be available. You could start by having your power supply checked by a quality computer repair shop. I would start there.
Don't presume you only have one problem.

On very old system one runs into fixing one problem and 2 weeks later another problems arises. Once that is fixed a little time later another problems pops it's ugly head up. ect. ect. ect.

Well, sorta on a budget.

Know any good PC's that are under 350$ CAD?

It is extremely difficult to get a reasonable pc for that price, if possible at all.

A reasonable pc, AFAIK, is at least twice the price you mentioned.
