BSOD upon boot up IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I bought a Lenovo B570 laptop the other day. First thing I did was pop in Windows Ultimate to give it a fresh install without all the bloatware. Windows installed fine, and then I start installing the drivers. The first time I just let the drivers install via Windows Update. Windows Update finished and then requested a reboot. I rebooted and it gives me a BSOD right after the "Starting Windows" splash screen.

I launched startup repair and reverted back to a system restore point before the Windows Updates. Boots up fine. Reinstalled the drivers but this time from the Lenovo site. Same thing, BSOD.

So, it seems to be something to do with the drivers. But what the heck am I supposed to do to get around that?
