Hi everyone, hoping to get some help here on a rather annoying problem i have.

I recently upgraded from a amd 6870 to an R9 290, and have been having problems since, i would normally blame the card but I've been assured that it works fine in another setup(will double check this in a friends in 2 days time), I'm generally inclined to believe this as they said they would happily take it back for a full refund including paying my postage.

Currently i get a bsod within around 15 mins of a cold boot, no matter what it is im doing. After it restarts from this though I'm usually free of problems if i do something light such as browsing for about 10 mins before going into a game. Generally if ive not had a bsod in 30 mins, i wont have one.
Things I've tried:

Clean install of windows 7, I experienced no Bsods all night but just encase tried it the next morning, had the same problem so I'm happy i double checked that before formatting my os.

Completely removing all Amd drivers and then reinstalling, also older drivers and beta drivers, no effect.

unplugging all my hard drivers, additional fans and such and running just on the essentails, no effect.

Underclocking the card, no effect.

I will attached the file the Dm log creater made, if you need any additional information please ask, i do have logs of the crashes from Gpu-z logs, but there seems to be no correlation in bsod times.

I'm not overly experienced in these things, but my first guess was maybe the psu was playing up, i had to rma the first one i had for dying on me within a week so I'm not overly confident in it.

Finally here are my specs:
Processor : Amd Fx4100 at stock 3.6ghz(was previously oc'd to 4ghz, after the first bsod with the new card i returned it to normal. I had had it at the clock fine for around 9 months).
Ram : G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
SSd : Samsung 840
Additional 2 7200 rpm hard drives.
Psu: Antec TruePower New 650W Modular PSU
Mobo : Asus M4N68t

Thanks very much in advance for any help given.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows installation, and are still experiencing BSOD's, we will be happy to help you solve them :)
