Burnt dvd's play only on computer not other dvd players

My acer aspire laptop use to have Vista on it and I had no problem burning a movie using DVD Decrypter, shrink and AnyDVD. I've switch to Window 7 and the burning seems to go fine and replays on the laptop, but if I put it in a stand alone DVD player I get 'no disc' on the screen. Tried several players that all played the Vista copies before and use the same make of DVD, Verbatium. Any ideas, thinking about going back to Vista

The easy solution is DVD Flick. It does a good job.
