I ran HDTune and it shows a warning next to "Calibration Retry Count". Under the "Data" column, it's been 612 since yesterday. What does this mean for my hard drive? Also, I've use various other HDD testing programs and I get perfect results.

I'm just wondering if the Calibration Retry Count error means that my HDD is going to fail.

All HDDs perform a calibration/alignment of the head and tracks at power up. The calibration retry count indicates the number of times recalibration was requested, when the initial calibration at the time of power up had not been successful.

The calibration retry count can indicate looming HDD failure; however...

The HDTune isn't really accurate; you should try the diagnostic software from your hard drive manufacturer. They tend to predict HDD failure better than HDTune, but far from accurate...

In the first post you stated.
I've use various other HDD testing programs and I get perfect results.
Are doing all these test for a reason. I will ask again. Are you having a problem with your computer we can help you with. If you use enough test of your hard drive sooner or later you will find one that doesn't like your hard drive.

My hard drive is louder than usual. It's not clicking or anything, but when it's accessing it's audible. If I'm in a reasonably quiet area and I'm close to my laptop I can hear my HDD perfectly. I was just wondering if these are signs of my HDD failing.

Okay now we are getting somewhere. Of all those hard drive test programs that you used was one of they from the hard drive manufacture and what was the results?
If its making enough noise wheir/where you can tell the difference it could be a problem. Just to be careful I would back up everything to a external source. Does your laptop work any different in anyway than it did before other than the noise? Is your computer under warranty?

I believe my computer is under warranty. I got in April. The computer isn't acting differently at all. It works perfectly. I used HDTune and it showed the warning. I downloaded Seatools and it says my HDD is fine. I'm confused.

I would believe Seatool if it was my computer. I would still make a back up just in case. The manufacture will use its own tools to test the drive if need be. If it gets louder I would check with who ever the warranty is being covered by.
