Hi there,
Ive got an alienware mx17r4 that ive been using for a few years now and the os has slowly stared to mess up little by little over time eventually to the point where ive been unable to update windows or even restart properly for a while. But this time, i shut down the laptop but eventually had to just power it off and when i plugged her back in i was unable to log into windows. The problem was that there was no user icons which is a problem ive solved before by messin around with the registry. But this time it seems ive just made it worse as im not even able to login safemode now.
Now when i try to login normally i get the vista looking loading bar cycle forever and when i boot into safemode it freezes on classpnp.sys
Any help would be apriciated
thx

Welcome to sevenforums.

Please do provide your spec correctly.

For example:

Do provide more info on your problem.

Such as when booting, is there any error codes; if possible, screenshot.

If the registry is done badly, you may have to re-install.
Do you have any backup, etc.....

Others may assist you further, after more details on the problem.
Every single details may be quite important.
