Can You Over Ride Windows Live

You may need to do a clean install of Win7. It sounds like the problem is coming from an upgrade from Vista to Win7. Clean install I believe is known as Custom install. Much better that way, less problems, such as the one you are having.

Once I can figure out how to remove it there will NEVER be a re-installation!!!!!

Oh nice, you joined windows seven forums with THAT user name, just to talk trash about it? Please dont whine at us, go and cry in the corner if you feel so bad about installing the OS.

Go into to tools and try and disable Windows Live Mail as your default mail program....HA HA HA It won't let you frickening do it!!!!

you can of course unninstall windows live mail by going into control panel\programs and features select "windows live essentials" and click unninstall then it will offer you boxes to tick , select what you want to unninstall and let it run, if you have any further issues I suggest you make your mail program of choice default by setting it from the control panel button called "default programs" and if you still have problems remove the registry keys as laid out in this walkthrough :geek:

You have options, whine, try to remove Win Live Mail as suggested above, reinstall Win7 (clean), or pay for the recovery cd. Next time make a recovery cd as soon as you buy a new pc. Then do back ups regularly too. Learn the proper way to install a new OS. It don't matter, you can have a MAC Attack to whine about if you don't learn how to do things the correct way.

No clue....

From what you've posted so far, on that I can agree.

As for the transfer wizard I believe I did but like everything else they are gone...

You forgot what other drive or disk you saved it to, in the length of time it took to install 7??????
Go into to tools and try and disable Windows Live Mail as your default mail program....

Go into your other mail progarm and set it as the default. Live Mail settings can only change the default back to Live Mail.

Seems you need to FTFM.
