Hi, So I just brought a Toshiba laptop with windows 7 premium. I cant seem to connect to my NETGEAR Wireless router. My previous laptops connected fine. When I search for a wireless device it picks it up, Then I click Connect, Shortly after I just get a trouble shoot message that doesnt help me at all. I have tried turning of the WEP key and connecting and still get the trouble shoot error message.

I am not sure what to do, I unplugged the ethernet cord out of the computer and into the laptop too connect to the internet and that worked fine. So I am not sure what wrong with the wireless.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Do your other laptops run Windows 7? What router do you have (model number, please)? WEP is a very old encryption system, and it's not recommended at all anymore. If you try using WPA2 with AES you probably will connect.
