can't create new folder on one drive

Hello. I'm not sure which section of the forum to post this. For some reason in Windows 7 RC1 (build 7100) I don't have the option to create a new folder in the root of one mapped domain network drive. What's weird is that with all of my other network drives I can, and I can make new folders in subfolders of the drive I'm having problems with. I just can't in the root of that one drive. The account I'm logged in with does have full control of the folder the drive maps to. I've checked with another member on our domain that is running the same RC1 and he doesn't have this problem.

Any suggestions?

First could y ou give us your system specs, and your networking setup? You on a domain, workgroup, or homegroup? 32 bit or 64? etc

My system specs:

Dell Latitude D830
2 GB RAM
120 GB Hard drive
Windows 7 RC 1 (build 7100) 32-bit
on a government Microsoft Domain, drive part of cluster, not sure what OS

Apparently this is a common Windows 7 issue. Other people are reporting this same problem. Cannot Create Folder on Network Drive - Win 7 RC
