Hi!

I have a (bad)habit to organize my pictures without using any programs.
I drag&drop pictures to the order I wanted them to be and then renamed them to keep the order. Sadly in Windows 7 I'm not able to change pictures or any kind of files position in folder.

Is there a way to enable it? It seems to me it has something to do with the way W7 order files, so it dosen't allow changing their order.

If you didn't get what i meant, here's an example:
5 pictures called: A B C D E
I want to change their position to: A C E D B without renaming them.

Much appreciated,

Without renaming the pics, no. Unless you do the work on the Desktop. No native option in Windows 7.

IrfanView Thumbnails is what I use to overcome this limitation.

This is really sad. Even no way to overcome it with some registry editing?

Thanks for your fast reply!
