Hi all. I am involved with a voluntary service to senior folk who need help with their computers. I'm no expert but have reasonable knowledge. I have a situation where someone's system has been left unkempt for some time and I would do a clean reinstall if I could. I can't because it is running an oem version of windows and the retailer who built/sold the machine has gone out of business and no install media was supplied. And MS will not allow downloading an ISO of the oem version. So... how can I best clean this system up without actually destroying the windows operating system? Thanks for all and any help.
