I recently was given a Dell Xps that had extreme issues so I was told to throw a drive scrubber in it and run that. Unable to even log into windows due to issues with it being a restore version of xp I was unable to create any type of backup. Can I use the win 7 image that I had created for my old laptop that is no longer working to install windows on it? the image is on an external hard drive. If so how? I have No operating system at all please help me thank you
