Solved Computer Keeps Shutting Down without Going to Sleep

Got it timed for 2 minutes now on my phone.

Still no sign of sleep.

We know it can Sleep ... Trying to think what might have changed to cause it not to Sleep ... Looking back seemed to be a Power Setting ....

I remember when you told me type in a command prompt. It said something like power cfg wake armed.

We have been through all the Settings Jesse ... Have Read all the Excellent Tutorials by Shawn .. Still searching though ..

I turned Fast Startup back off and it shut down right again.

Yes that was one of the causes ... Have never used Avira so no idea what it is like ... When did Panda stop working ? ...

It never would work right on Windows 8.1. When scanning, it would pause automatically and wouldn't resume. I had to pause and resume the scan manually. This happened all throughout the scan process. I tried working with Panda's tech support, and I couldn't get much assistance.

I have no idea which one to suggest for you ... I use FSecure but it is not Free ...

I started out with AVG. It worked good. But, someone told me to try Panda.

Avg is no good .. There does not seem to be a good choice of Free ones .. Even the paid ones some are not good ...

Maxie, I believe it has a problem with the kernel power driver? Do you mind seeing if there is an update?
