I have recently been having problems with BSOD. A friend offered to restore my computer to its original settings. For some reason it didn't complete. It only loaded 99%. Then for some reason she starts receiving a message bootmgr is missing. She then went into the CMOS setup utility:confused: screen which I believe is F12 Boot menu and entered Load Default Settings. Now all it does is turn
on go to screen BOOTMGR is missing press Ctrl+Although+ Del to restart. I don't want to toss it out but I'm frustrated with my computer. Please help.

Thanks for your help. I actually went into one of the menus at start up(there were only two I could access). I changed the 1st boot setting to LAN and it started up, then I used the recovery disks to fix. My computer has been fine so far. I had no idea what I was doing changing this setting, but it worked. Lucky for me.
