Ok ive marked this thread as solved. its been working all day through numerous test and hasn't locked up.

i noticed my heat was pretty warm during all of these tests so i decided to get a new case and two 140mm fans to aid in heat dissipation, plus the case just looks cool. and now i will have something that most people take for granted, the simple luxury of front mounted USB ports lol.
