Posting this on behalf of my son who's pc has just started crashing after trying to install the latest Nvidia driver suggested by Nvidea experience prog. It got half way throught installing the driver, screen went black, then the pc rebooted - but only gets as far as the 'starting windows' screen which then blue screens and crashes almost immediately, before windows properly begins to load. He's tried system restore through the recovery procedure but to no avail. Does the same running graphics off the board,
It a new build pc with a Gigabyte Z97P-D3 m/b and I5 4690k pcu with an MSI GTX 970 graphics card running windows 7 pro and 8gb ram. Been running fine for about 3 weeks until the driver update was attempted.
thanks guys
