Customizing "Computer Name" tab in System Properties (sysdm.cpl) Win7

Hello.

I wondered if someone knows how do i customize the "Computer Name" tab in System properties window (sysdm.cpl) windows 7.

I want to delete the "Network ID" and the "Change" buttons so the ability to change workgroup or domain through this tab will be disabled.

Any body can help with tips ?

Thanks.

Hello Speidy,

I'm not sure if that may be possible or not. However, standard users will not be able to change the computer name, so you could make everyone that you do not want to be able to change it into a standard user instead of administrator.

Hope this helps some,
Shawn
