I recently upgraded my Op System from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium. When I go into System Properties - Advance Tab - Startup and Recovery - Settings - It still shows my default operating system as Vista even though when I boot up my PC it shows Windows 7. Can anyone tell me if this a problem and if so how I can correct it?
Thanks. Robert.

Hi reghaka

Windows 7 is not shown there as an option on the drop down menu. It only shows Vista. I went into msconfig.exe under the boot tab and it shows Vista as my operating system. I am not sure how to change this without doing any damage?

It is just a name nothing to be concerned about...
You can change it by opening an administrative command prompt and typing:
Code:
bcdedit /set {current} description "Windows 7"
