While Defraggler worked fine for me in XP, with Win 7, I had nothing but trouble with it. It would take forever to do the job and actually corrupted one of my data drives, which then corrupted one of my backup drives; I had to reformat the drive and restore the data from a second backup drive, the rebackup to the first data drive (after reformatting it) to recover from the crash. I ditched Defraggler after that.

I've found Win 7's native defragger works just fine. I have it set to automatically run during the wee hours once a week (my computer runs 24/7).

I already did: Win 7's native defragger. To find it, just hit the Windows key, type in "defrag" (without the quotes), then click on the Disk Defragmenter. I currently have it set to defrag my HDDs once a week (SSDs don't need regular defragmentation). I probably can do just fine having it set for once a month; I just haven't gotten around to resetting it yet.

The latest version of Defraggler had this same problem for me as well.
To way to solve it (according to the Defraggler forum) was to untick/uncheck a box.
Launch Defraggler. Then go to Settings -> Options -> Defrag tab. Clear the box marked "Move large files to end of drive during whole drive defrag". Click OK.
Close Defraggler and relaunch. :)

I'm not a Piriform forum member either, Alexey. I happened to find the issue addressed after a Google search.

Newest Version of Defraggler - Defraggler Bug Reporting - Piriform Community Forums posts #5, and #10-12.

Your screen shot shows that the box "Move large files to end of drive during whole drive defrag" is already empty. If Defraggler still doesn't work, there are a few other ideas in that thread that you can try, such as using "Quick Defrag" or changing other options on the Defrag tab. Some users needed to revert to an earlier version of Defraggler, or trying the portable version.

The bottom line, though, is that there is indeed a problem that will need to be ironed out.

Alexey2912 I'm also one the used the Windows 7 built in Defrag when I used hard drives.

I test many programs and found that Windows 7 Defrag worked as good or better than the others I tested.

Their is a reason in my opinion.
Windows 7 Defrag put things where Windows 7 wants them and Windows 7 is what has to find things when asked to.

3rd party Defrag put things who know where.
Defraging is done by Diskeeper which is default in Windows 7.

Just a stripped down version with out all the pretty bouncing colored square.

I agree with the Bear. I've found that Win 7's native defragger works just fine, works reasonably fast, and can be scheduled.

Thanks all for sharing your expert views.

A thought came in my mind to restore the last created image having Defraggler 2.18, which couldn't find at Piriform.......restoring the image got back ver 2.18 and no such errors now........2.19 is buggy......disabled update in Defraggler.

Thanks again.
