I would suggest using another defrag program such as the one built into Windows.

When I had hard drives in use I tried many defrag programs and never found one that worked better than the built in Windows 7 Defrag.
Windows 7 defrag doesn't have all the little built in jumping colored boxes but it does the job.
To the best of my memory Windows 7 defrag was designed by Diskeeper for Microsoft.

When I installed my Samsung SSD, Samsung's Magician disabled defrag on my computer so I was using Defraggler (which, curiously enough, is recommended here) and it would take forcottonpickinever to defrag my main spinner. One time, it even corrupted it (thank God for backups!). I found out how to re-enable Win 7's defrag on the spinners and now it just takes minutes, instead of double digit hours, and does it automatically overnight.

I would tend to agree here; the defrag program built into windows should do a good enough job for ya; but there are others out there but still the windows program is probably a lot better than the 3rd party programs out there.
