so i was thinking right its a 5v fan and well im thinking push the sensor under the main cpu and wireup the wires into the fan block .do u guys think this is a good idea

BLACK: Negative = ground
RED: Positive =5v
YELLOW: Tacho = dont think need to connect this up
BLUE: PWM Control =dont think need to connect this up

Upgrading the cpu cooler probably will too but it's a safer route
Which if you do upgrade the cooler get some arctic silver 5 thermal paste.

yep got artic 5 silver.i got some copper shims and when i got that i got paste also guy said was great stuff.i bought a dell e6420 i7 pro 2.8ghz which i might do that i pulled it apart and found it had only one copper pipe heatsink.also buddy do u think of this smart speed control device to wire into my other laptop i bought

I'd stick with upgrading the cooler first and see how it goes
I will say without PWM the fan will stay full blast maybe that is the point ?

i think there is a chip inside it to make the fan spin faster than what the laptop is programed for but i dont care if battery dont last as good because it wont be going anywhere only at our home.this is the specs of this see what u guys think its from ebay

just bought the heatsink upgrade there
