Disk Management Problem

Boot Partition Wizard CD, rightclick Resize the partition you want to shrink. If you get the prompt to Check File System again, it is on the same rightclick menu.

You need a Repair CD for your Win7 in case it ever won't boot. You can also run Disk Check from the Command Line as it says in the tutorial I linked earlier. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2083-system-repair-disc-create.html

Look at your HD to see what brand, then burn the diagnostics/repair CD for that brand HD to boot and run a full HD scan. It can repair problems on a HD so they dont' go bad.

If PW CD can't shrink it enough, try Perfect Disk 10 trial version. First defrag for compactness, then rightclick C to Offline Defrag>System Files which will move the files in the way. Back up your data first.

Here it is at the link below.

PerfectDisk Professional 11.0 Build 178

Hey gregrocker,
Thanks for the response, I will try it once i reach home. Had few more queries.

1) Is Perfect Disk a bootable appl or i have to run it through windows 7 itself???
2) Its basically to move the system files from the very end of the volume. right? So after i run this app i need to run again the partition appl to partition it?

3) You said to "First defrag for compactness, then rightclick C to Offline Defrag>System Files" can you provide me a screen shot so that i can get a clear picture.
