Solved Do People still use light pens?

I'm curious

At first when they came out, I thought this IS the pointing deice but then realized that it meant keeping your arm up all the time and obviously wont work with flat panel monitors.

What's hilarious is you mentioned a primary reason why light pens never caught on for desktops (arm fatigue) yet we now have M$ pushing the equivalent (touch screen OS).

Silly isn't it a touch screen os is like a light pen without having to hold anything!

The light pen is your finger - the fatigue is the same.
