PCI Latency Tool Still Doesn't Work
Thanks for the help, Nosferatu.
The error message I'm getting reads "Failed to initialize Config Space access! If you have just installed the tool, try rebooting the system. Otherwise, try installing it." Needless to say, neither works. I've had UAC turned off during all my attempts and I have tried installing and running in native Win 7, as well as Vista and XP compatibility modes. The installed program is set to run in Administrator mode. I haven't been able to get compatibility mode to allow me to intall in Administrator mode, however I'm installing under an Administrator account.
Baarod - I'm pretty sure the driver has a RAM bug as well, so I'm still interested in hearing your opinions for working around this bug without limiting my system RAM based on the system configuration files I posted.

Dale, please try disabling UAC and running it as administrator. On the issue you're encountering running the latency tool, please give more details so we can make it run on your system.
The reason I went back to this, to date, I've not found any other notable solutions to this "Crackling and Popping" that does not involve PCI Bus adjustments short of changing the Audio Card completely
I'm most willing to see what we can do with this issue of yours![]()
