This is more of a Windows Vista Question but it may be the same as Windows 7. I have a laptop running windows vista. I have a detachable hard drive that has my music on it.
I shut down the computer and disconnect the drive. When I go to restart the computer it sees the drive but gives it a new letter. It drives me crazy because my itunes no longer sees the drive and I have to find it manually again.
Is there anyway to change the drive letter back to what it was the first time or is there a way to make sure it only uses that letter for that hard drive?
